Rhiannon and Miles got married in April 2021 at St. Giles Church in Shipbourne before heading off to The Plough at Leigh. They originally had their wedding planned for April 2020 but like so many others, they had to postpone and also reduce the coverage due to restrictions still in place. They went for the Essentials+ package and received 336 photos.

This was the second wedding back from the UK winter lockdown and what a beautiful day it was! Unfortunately (from my point of view) I was only allowed to take photos in the church from the back so that I kept out of sight. Every church is different and some vicars will let you come as close as you want, but on this occasion, it was from the back. Not ideal but I am there to document the day, not step on anyone’s toes! Nevertheless, I managed to get some nice shots of the first look, first kiss, exchanging of rings and those subtle glances and smiles to each other; moments that make wedding photos look real rather than staged.

It was my first time at The Plough at Leigh and it’s really nice. A lovely big garden with some great spots under the trees and against the black featheredge boarding of the barn. The massive white bouncy castle was brilliant! I did think about getting on but not sure the lens vibration reduction would even help there!

It was a shame that they couldn’t have more guests and stay for longer but they had a great day and I loved covering their wedding. Congratulations!!
